Sometimes you can't think of a title.

This is quite a silly post, I suppose - which I am mainly doing since I didn't want to wait too long until next time I update. Now, I don't really believe in just writing anything just to update your blog, as then I think it's better not to do it at all... But, I do have some bits and pieces to say.

First of all, thanks everyone for all the encouraging comments in the previous post. I feel a little better now. I'm adjusting to not having him around anymore, and I suppose December isn't really that far away, when you think about it.

Secondly, I got a new computer yesterday (which is the main reason why I didn't update much this week), a macbook, and although it was very expensive, I love it. I just figured I'd go on a super strict food, clothes and other expenses budget for a few months. I'm not quite sure if the clothes part will be as successful as I plan for it to be, but I'll at least try to limit myself quite severely.

Nothing to do, nothing to say.

I really could not think of a better title, so excuse this one. I suppose I'm just feeling a bit down at the moment. My boyfriend left yesterday, after spending more than two months with me, and now I won't see him until December. It's so long- though I know I get sort of "used" to not having him around after a while...

My laptop also broke down, and I have no idea whatsoever what's wrong with it. If this had happened at a different time I would have screamed, but now since I already feel sad it's just making me sadder, or apathetic, perhaps. I don't know. I just don't feel like I have the money to spend on a new computer at the moment, but there is no other way.

Anyway, this is what I wore on Sunday.

Top from Cala in Israel, skirt with lace petticoat from H&M, and shoes from Bronx.

The sky was also beauitful.

Thoughts, gloves and a tag.

This has been a really stressful week at the teaching work experience I'm doing at a school, with lots of planning and work. It really takes so much time, but it is also very interesting and I do think I like it a lot. It's just very demanding - more than I ever imagined with all the planning that's needed, and just being a teacher, and talking. You wouldn't believe how sore my throat felt after giving my first lesson this week. I do suppose it's something you get used to, though. Hopefully at least. Next week, and onward, will be even more difficult, as I'll be doing all the teaching on my own. I am, luckily, also excited for it.

I decided to treat myself to a nice pair of leather gloves from Bianco this week. They're perfect, in my opinion, and I especially love the zipper on them, which make them a little special.

A while ago I was tagged by Sidney Doll to list six quirky facts about myself, so here I go:

- Every morning (for quite a few months now) I eat buckwheat porridge with warm soy milk for breakfast. It's just so good, warm and filling.

- I used to love languages even more than I do now when I was younger. When I was 14 I went to an evening French course, and read heavy linguist books.

- I am terrified of birds, which many people think is an awkward phobia. I don't mind little birds so much (I just wouldn't want to get too near them), but bigger birds, especially pigeons are so disgusting, and I sometimes have to do detours to avoid them... However, other people seem to mind that more than I do. The thing is, I also don't want to try to cure this phobia, since I under no circumstances want to get closer to these disgusting birds.

- I tend to wake up with a sore throat, feeling clogged up and unable to breathe well in the morning. It's incredibly annoying.

- I have a habit of being really interested in a particular subject for a period of time, almost to the point of obsession, causing me to read up on it, and learning a lot about it. After some time though, the interest slowly fades, and an interest in something else might awake. At the moment I don't think I have a burning interest for anything (if we don't count fashion in), but around three - four years ago I was really interested in the Holocaust, for a long long time (and I cannot say that I'm not interested in it anymore either).

- I cannot remember the last time I wore trousers. I as good as always wear skirts or dresses. It's just so much more comfortable, I think.

Cacharel SS 09

As soon as I came across the Cacharel SS 09 collection I fell in love with it. This must be the prettiest collection I've seen so far at all the fashion shows this autumn... I love all the girlyness, frills, prints and pretty cuts. And all the hairbands are so beautful as well! This is how I would like to dress now, had it not been so cold, at least.

Knits.

The last few days I've been buying and stocking up on warm socks, tights, a scarf, gloves and a beret for the cold season with money that I got for my birthday... and I am very pleased with my find, although I don't feel that I am quite set yet. I still need more tights, which I can never get enough of. However, I am desperately looking for white tights, but I have only come across them in the H&M children's department (yet, only in too small sizes), so I hope they will get more of them eventually. They have so many nice tights in the children's department at H&M, which are both cheaper and seem to have much better quality than those they sell in the regular H&M, so I'm going to buy my tights there as long as they stock pretty ones that I want. The gray tights you can see in the picture below are also from H&M young. It seems like the colours I'll be wearing are mustard yellow and gray, for the most part.

White socks from H&M, gray tights from H&M, yellow acryllic scarf from Mexx, and gray acryllic beret and gloves from H&M.

I really want a knit cardigan as well. I spotted some in a shop from Norwegian designer Siv Elise Seland that I fell in love with because of the pretty colours and at the same time the traditional Norwegian pattern. However, I'm not sure if I can afford one at the moment... maybe I'll try to budget it in next month.

Ah, I just think it's lovely to be (almost) all set for the cold weather. What about all of you? Are you set, and what, if anything, are you still missing?

Last, but not least, I was tagged by the brilliant Marisa with the Gold Card with which I can buy anything I want in the world...

I would first of all like to buy myself a fabulous, big apartment in either Stockholm, London, Paris, or New York, but since the credit card is unlimited, why not in all four places? Then I would also decorate it the way I want, without having any economical restictions at all.

Also, I would love to go on a worldwide travel... there are so many places I want to visit - I want to go nearly everywhere.

I also want to complete my wardrobe with a lot of classical and high quality pieces that I can have for years and years.

For a long time I've also been wanting an excellent camera, so I would definitely get that, too. And I suppose some other technical things, like a new computer would be great.

What else? Yes, I would finally get my driver's license. I think it's quite bad to be 24 and not have one yet...

I guess I should also be noble and donate some of the money to worthy causes, and make sure that my family is financially set for life.

Candy.

Today I went for a walk in the forest with my dog (and my boyfriend), on yet another nice day. I was wearing a dress I recently bought on ebay, that makes me feel like a living candy stick.

Dress; asos (bought on ebay), top; Mango, shoes; Benetton, tights; Vero Moda.

The squirrels made it seem less lonely.

I was really excited to find an article about Jodelle Ferland in the most recent Lula magazine since it made me recall the film 'Tideland' which I watched a few months ago and fell in love with.

If you haven't watched this film, you should. It's filled with whimsical childish innocence and imagination, and the images are beautiful. In addition to that, it's quite amazing to see how well Jodelle Ferland plays her role, being only ten or so at that time.

It's as if the Lula photography is a continuation of the images in the film, also portraying such an innocent, magical and childlike world.
