I suppose it doesn't quite reflect my current taste (which is more romantic, French, softer, retro), whereas my apartment in my eyes seems to have lots of oriental influences, that I used to be into. I wish I could change it, but I don't also really see the point if I'll be moving in less than a year or so. However, I do for the most part like it.
I have lots of books, and most of them are stored in my kitchen.
I got this retro style radio for my birthday as the radio on my CD player didn't work and I really missed listening to the radio now and then and especially while cooking. Now cooking is a lot more fun.

I love this jewellery box. I can't remember exactly where I got it from, but I think it's Chinese, brought by someone who was a seaman many, many years ago. It's really pretty to look at and it plays a sweet little melody.
This is my bedroom in which not much more than my bed fits. The bedcover I bought in Turkey last year, and the mirror is an antique one I stole/borrowed from my mother.
On my bedroom wall I have a photo of ballet dancers that I like waking up to. This wall also looks more like the way I'd like all of my apartment to look like.

Your apartment is so sweet! I think that jewellery box is possibly one of the prettiest things I've ever seen! I want to do an apartment tour (or at least a closet/bedroom tour) but it would involve tidying up so I don't think it'll happen too soon! Char x
that bed cover is absolutely gorgeous! + the light in your room is soo decadent-- hmm.. i kinda want a bed now (ive given up on beds and i now sleep on this hammock thingy my dad bought me. lol) cause I want dainty fabrics like that hanging on the corners as well! haha..
