Today.

I went to the hairdresser today to get rid of my dark roots and to get a little haircut. Unfortunately, my roots seem to have turned sort of strawberry blonde, which is not bad in itself, but it doesn't look even with the rest of my hair colour...   that was quite annoying. I'm going to see if it would help any to wash my hair with silver shampoo a few times, and if not I'm going back to get it fixed.

This is what I wore:

Dress and tights from H&M and a leotard from American Apparel.

On the 21st, in ten days, the polar nights begin here, which means the sun won't be visible for two months. I quite dread that every year since I need real daylight and sunshine, and all the darkness makes me rather gloomy. Luckily I'm going away on a holiday for three weeks in December where I suppose I'll get my dose of sunshine. Anyway, on Sunday the weather was really nice, and sunny as you can see, which is good to get a lot of before it sets in.

Cute dress!

The same thing happened with me when my hair was blonde, I got my roots dyed blonde, but they turned strawberry blonde instead...

Wow, the sun won't be visible for 2 months? That's so weird! We have to much sun here, haha, it's always hot.

I love the picture of you with your shadow in the back round, lovely!

I don't know how I could live without sun that long, I get sad when it gets dark at 3 pm!

Thank you, Ariella. The shinyness of the heels is what caught my attention to purchase them. :) I am using the first layout, I believe it's called plain or minimal. I use Photobucket and Imageshack.us to host larger photos now. You can also use Picassa.com :)

Your hair is so lovely. It reminds me of a porcelain doll's soft golden locks. <3

I guess I could stop complaining about it getting dark here at 5:00, then!

Those tights are lovely, by the way. I've been clamoring for a pair...

You live far enough north for that? Wow! In canada it's only the northern territories that have to deal with that, luckily for me! Maybe wear lots of bright colours to make up for it? Like those fabulous red tights which I love!

I can only imagine how dreadful it must be to not have a glimpse of sunshine for so long, but I'm sure that a nice holiday will help you get through ;)

It fascinates me that the sun can just not be visible for such a long period of time, I can understand why you feel a bit sad when that happens! Winter makes everyone a bit depressed at times, I think! I love those red tights! Char x

Sikkelig tøft med de røde strømpebuksene.
Bildet er nydelig, liker hvordan solen bryter landskapet.
Må være rart med fullstendig mørketid. Det blir mørkt her også, men vi får alltids vår dose sol.
Men du får holde ut, da.
