Copenhagen, Edith & Ella and awards.

DSC04523
Yesterday I went to Copenhagen and I don't think I really enjoyed it as much as I should have. The weather was so cold and slushy, I didn't feel like going around much, seeing sights and such. All I did was walk around for a few hours, buying little things such as a new mascara, tea, a plain knitted vest on sale, and some other small things.

One thing I did enjoy though, was that I came across the most amazing shop called Edith & Ella which sells ridiculously cute retro inspired clothing. I was given a catalogue by the shop assistant there, and I thought I'd share it with you.

Unfortunately I didn't buy anything there because I even though everything was really pretty, there wasn't anything there that I felt that I had to have. I will probably go back to Copenhagen next month when my sister is coming to see me, and hopefully the weather will be better then and it'll be more fun to go together with someone - and then I'm definitely going to drop by Edith & Ella again to see if they have anything new in.

I have postponed the awards I've received recently for a long time, so I thought I would just include them all in this post. I've also added the awards I've received in the side bar since I always feel quite bad when someone gives me an award that I've already received. For some reason I think it makes me sound sort of selfish if I then mention an award again, and I also think there are so many other great blogs out there that deserve these awards. Therefore I am passing on the following awards to all of you who have never received an award, or haven't really received many awards.
Princess Daisy gave me this sweet award. Thanks, sweetie!

I was given this lovely, sparkly award by Anna of Much love. Thank you so much, dear!

And finally, Kay of The Stitched and Deana of Dooder City gave me this lovely one. Thank you, lovelies!

Finally, I'm the first to comment on your post.
Shouldn't I be rewarded with a wonderful gift from Scandinavia? I had a Bday not so long ago, too.
I could give you my mailing address. Haha! ;)

That shop looks so adorable! I can really see you suiting some of the outfits in their catalogue - so cool!

I know what you mean about the weather having the ability to make a day out a bit rubbish. I think it'll be great when we all have some sunshine again :)

Hope you're well, nice to hear from you, as always! x

Thank you for sharing some pictures from the catalogue. The shop looks incredibly cute! That's too bad that the weather in Copenhagen wasn't the greatest, but like you said, hopefully it will be better when you go again with your sister :)

I guess it's not very pleasant to walk around a city in bad weather, when all you want to do is to sit in a nice, warm place for a coffee and stay put... this Edith & Ella shop looks very nice though! lucky find.

Edith and Ella looks adorable! All of those shoes are so gorgeous. I really want to go to Copenhagen; it's definitely on my list.
How long have you been a vegan? I'm so impressed! I've been a vegetarian for almost 2 years, but I haven't been able to resist the siren call of cheese and cut out dairy. And you're right, it's so hard to avoid animal products! It seems like they're hidden in everything.

hey darling! I loved the edith and ella shoes! :)
as for Lefties, it's the outlet store for the Inditiex company, which owns Zara, Stradiarius, Bershka, Pull and Bear etc. It sells Lefties brand but also Zara and other the brands in retail price. So you can see I bought one sweater for 1€ there in the sales and saw it at 10€ in the zara sales so it's lot cheaper. I got those 6 items for 1€ because they were cleaning out before the end of sales and had a row of 1€ clothes and I got lucky! I'll show them later!
hope you are doing well.

Hey, I'm a part of the Edith & Ella team, and just want to say thanks for the mention in your post!

The catalogue you have there is from our Autumn/Winter collection, and since you mentioned you're looking forward to seeing new items, I thought you might be interested in having a look at our newly-launched Spring/Summer collection:

Hope you enjoy it! And keep up the blogging — you have fantastic style! I'm really coveting your red wedges right now.
