Cinnamon rolls.

I made some delicious vegan cinnamon rolls yesterday, and now they're all eaten up.

(before they were baked)

Here is the recipe in case any of you would like to make some.

125 grams of vegetable margarine
2,5 deciliters of soya milk
25 grams of yeast
0,5 deciliters of raw cane sugar
9 deciliters of spelt flour (I usually let half the amount be full grain spelt)

cinnamon, vegetable margarine and sugar for the filling.

1. Melt the margarine in a pot, and add the milk when melted.
2. Add the liquid to the yeast, which you've crumbled. Mix well.
3. Add the sugar, and the flour and mix. Knead the dough.
4. Let the dough rise for about an hour.
5. Divide the dough in two and roll it out with a rolling pin.

6. Smear butter and strew cinnamon and sugar onto the dough.
7. Start rolling it together on the longest side, and then cut into 4 cm rolls with a knife.
8. Put the rolls on a baking paper and let rest for a few minutes. At the same time, put the oven on 200 degrees C.
9. Bake for around 12 minutes, and voilà!

Of course, if you don't want to make vegan cinnamon rolls, the soya milk and vegetable margarine can be replaced with ordinary milk and margarine. The same goes for the sugar and the flour - use white, refined sugar and white wheat flour if you want!

(There is something wrong with my camera, which is why these pictures aren't the best. For some reason the image doesn't show on the camera screen when I take pictures - but it does show when I click to view it. So frustrating.)

Cakes and treats of the spicy kind are my favourite, I love love love cinnamon. Would love to give the recipe a try but I know I'll never get round to it, haha. I have all these good intentions but end up not following them through.

I hope they tasted as good as they look!

Also, the outfit in the last post looked great - love the umbrella too as a prop, cute stuff :)

I love Cinnamon rolls. I've been a Vegetarian for many many years, but never went vegan, because I love cheese! :)
I will try to bake those vegan ones if I'll find the time!

Have a great weekend.

When it's really hot there comes a lot of ladybugs at and around my window, somethings that's a little irritated but yeah it reminds me of spring too! <3 And I'm waiting for the sun! :D
