I ended up not going to the Dead Sea on Saturday since the weather wasn't the best, so instead I went to Jerusalem which I think I enjoyed just as much. I hadn't been there for a very long time, which is a pity since it is always such an interesting city to visit. It's such a unique place due to its history, ancient architecture, beautiful scenery around it and the atmosphere with almost everyone being very religious. I should have taken more pictures of it, and especially of the old city, but it was quite rainy so we didn't spend enough time there. I will most likely go back there again in a couple of weeks when my parents are coming for a visit, so then I'll try to take more pictures.

Jerusalem is one of the places I really want to visit and not just because I study theology.
You are very blessed to be able to visit Jerusalem. I would love, love to go there someday. It seems impossible now, but maybe one day. I like your outfit a lot! It's a nice and bright contrast with the scenery of the ancient city :)

I like that your skirt matches the dome. What a contrast, you and that city, did you stand out or feel displaced at all? Truth be told I can't imagine what Jerusalem is like, it seems so archaic to me. Having studied the architecture I never got a sense of the modern Jerusalem. Anyway, I'm loving the regular posts, and how adventurous your life is right now :)

To Emma:I guess I felt a little out of place because the city and it's people are so religious and clearly I do not look like them. I think it even added to that feeling that we were there on a Saturday (sabbath). But yes, the city is indeed very archaic!
To April: I finished my teaching studies (I have a MA in teaching English and German) in December and right now I am not doing anything except learning Hebrew... I have to wait until May until I get my working permit and I'll start looking for a job then.

This outfit is so nice. I like colouful clothes in combination with a classic trenchcoat. I was thinking about buying the skirt, but was not sure how to combine it. Now I think I shoul have got it. : )
