Staying in
Hello to all of you - I hope you've had a good weekend! I've been, for the most part, staying indoor in order to avoid the sun (my arms - especially my lower arms - have gotten way too tan without my blessing!) and the heat (It was 35 C here on Friday!), trying to cook recipes I hadn't tried so far (like baked eggplant in tomato sauce) and reading Haruki Murakami's "Kafka on the Shore" and Jonathan Safran Foer's "Eating Animals". A nice, relaxing weekend, one of the best ways to spend it, in my opinion.
Green stripe dress from Cala, shoes from London (bought them some four years ago and cannot remember from which shop) and bracelet given to me by my grandfather when I was 14.

Such a very pretty dress ! You look lovely!
It's so nice to see Israel from your point of view. I am an Israeli who live at the moment abroad, and you make me long to her in your posts.
I can totally relate! hahaha The lower part of my arms is darker as well; in fact the lower part of my body is darker than the upper part. I loathe that, I feel so awkward.

This is definitely one of my favourite dresses that you have. Its so beautiful and I love the colour and the layer at the bottom. I think you were wearing this dress the first time I ever read your blog last year. I adore your shoes with this dress too.
oh dear I love that tulle detail on the dress, so ballerina like!
also, I guess tanning is something you'll have to get used to, my whole body is tanned now, but before I started going to the beach this year, mu arms were already very tanned from the driving around in the sun.
also those are some beautiful pictures!
You have beautiful eyes! :)
Your dress brings out your eyes beautifully! And the tan gives you a nice healthy glow ;)

Such pretty details on that dress! I love the trim. It looks like the perfect summertime dress. And your hair is so long and pretty! You look very nice with a braid. :)

oh you look like a little doll ! i like your sweet outfit !
Now this is the most perfect little dress if I ever saw one! I especially like the color -- it looks so nice on you.
After cutting 7 or so inches off my hair in January it's almost long enough now to braid again. I love the look of a pretty summer dress and a simple braid.
