Lace playsuit

Field

I've been wearing my new playsuit (that almost looks like a short dress at first glance!) nearly every other day since I got it around a week ago and on Saturday when my boyfriend and I went for a little walk I had him take some pictures of me wearing it. As you can see, I've also had my hair cut. I'm not sure if I like it yet since the hairdresser I went to cut it about five cm shorter than what I asked for (something that has never happened to me before - I always find myself needing to tell my hairdresser to cut my hair a little more) and I'm a little annoyed with that. I had wanted my hair to be cut in the same length as it was last year at this time of the year, but there is nothing to do about it now. In a few months it'll be a bit longer and by then I'll beyond doubt be used to it.
Now I'm off to make myself a cup of tea for the umpteenth time today. I've caught an unpleasant cold that my boyfriend had last week. I don't mild colds so much, but when one has to cope with one in sticky hot weather it is near torture.

Oh, but I think your hair looks great in that length! Maybe you just need a day or two to get used to the change!

I love your playsuit and your shoes and they look lovely together. I like your new hair cut and I think the length looks really good on you. I am very used to hairdressers not following instructions because I have had so many things go wrong that I am scared every time that I now get my hair cut.

Thanks for stopping by, I have a mild cold too, hopefully it will be gone by tomorrow!

The lace playsuit looks great on you! It's such a lovely little piece. I'm tempted to order one myself, but exchanging GBP for USD is quite expensive. Whenever I look at something in Pounds I have to remember that the cost in Dollars is nearly doubled. Perhaps I'll be able to procure something similar from a domestic shop!

This set of photos is stunning. I love the rustic, out in the country feel. I do spot a few palm trees, though! ;)

Your horse shoe flats are darrrling! Also, I think your new haircut looks good. Nice, light, and summery. I feel your pain, though. I have had hairdressers disregard my wishes, too.

Hope you're feeling better!

Your Dahlia dress is so pretty. I am definitely checking out the link you posted below-their stuff looks great!

Yeah, some hairdressers are crazy. I hate it when they chop off more than you asked for but by the time you notice it's too late. I get in a really grumpy mood when that happens.

Sounds like your cute new cut is perfect for the hot weather though!

Aw, well, I'm sorry your haircut didn't go as planned, but the length really suits you. And it does look great with that playsuit! It gives you a very sweet, retro vibe. :)

I'm braving the hairdresser's in a few days, too!

Your hair looks beautiful! I always have a fair few inches off mine everytime I go to the hairdressers and it always takes me a few days to get used to it! Love the playsuit!

the playsuit and shoes are darling, and I'd go mad if the hairdresser cutted 5cm more than I wanted! well they almost never get what I really want, anyway, i bet this shorter hair makes you feel more fresh in that hot and humid weather right? mine did! :) and you look cute!
