New lace dress...

Sunkissed

I am such a lousy blogger - I know. I keep wanting to post more, but my inspiration seems to be going through a downfall at the moment and that is really bothering me. I also keep thinking "Oh, this would be nice to post about!", but, then it doesn't seem like worth posting about a little while later. After re-reading these couple of sentences, I realized I've kind of made this sound like a blog depression (is that even possible?). A bit silly maybe, but I suppose what I wanted to put into words is; is there anything you would like to see on my blog, anything that you miss seeing here, or, in other words, do you have any ideas of what I could post about?

Over to something else. Yesterday I went to the Topshop sale and I got this pretty little dress that I was eyeing on the Topshop website a few months ago, and that I've been trying to get on ebay (but it's always been selling for too much), so I was really happy to get it for half price yesterday. The downside, however, is that it has a small foundation (I'm guessing) stain at the neckline and the shop assistant refused to give me a discount because of that (quite ridiculous since in Europe I'd get it in a second). I really hope it'll come off. I love the fact that it has long sleeves as well as being very light weight so that I can protect myself a little from the sun in it.

That dress is lovely! and I know what you mean about not knowing what to blog about.
I love what you post! :o)

I love the dress, it is so pretty. I'm pretty sure she has to give you the discount; it's weird she didn't.
Any ways, I totally get your feeling towards blogging. Sometimes I have absolutely no idea what to blog about either. Don't worry, I'm sure inspiration will come to you. Just keep posting about things you love.

This is the perfect dress to spend your summer in:)Love it!You know, you would be even more frustrated here in Romania because the way people are used to be treated in shops is not so nice. Not to mention the fact that most of those girls who sell don't even bother smiling or trying to be nice.So a discount for a stain would get you taht "are you kidding me?take it or leave it" expression...it will pass some time until things will change...
I also wanted to ask you something about Tassus...I also have a dog-maybe you've seen him on my blog in a post...and his hair has grown.like a lot.He needs a haircut but people always told me tha I should never cut the hair from his eyes.I see Tassus does not have longer hair over his eyes, and as I said before, I am told that a dog is supposed to keep his hair over his eyes if that is the way his hair grows. Is it okay to cut it?
Sorry for the long comment.Have a happy weekend!

ah, i'm finding some lack of inspiration as well. i find watching some vintage-themed movie like Pearl Harbor gets me in the mood.

the topshop sale was pretty fantastic. you got a really nice deal. btw, i don't see any stain on it so if it doesn't come off, i think you'll be just fine :]

such a lovely dress! I love seeing you experiment with different ways of taking your outfit photos. I especially like the ones where you're on the chair.

I've been having a blogging-block (is that a word??) lately myself. But don't worry, just post whenever and whatever you like. Blogging shouldn't feel like a burden.

I love this dress - it's so pretty!

It can be hard to find inspiration sometimes, I find as well. I just post what I feel like, or am interested in at that moment, and if people like it that's great, but if not, that's okay too.

Just go with some of those ideas that you think at first might be interesting to post about, before you change your mind!

You look lovely - as always.

I would love to hear more about your life in Israel and with your bf (your apartment for example). Also what you do all day and what your plans are for the future.
Maybe also something about Israelian food or something like that.

Topshop! I was thinking of wearing this dress for my university graduation a few months ago but I found one without sleeves instead (necessary because it's HOT at a summer grad in Manila). Looks lovely on you, I wish I had got it!

Your dress is beautiful! I also love the scarf in your hair you have paired it with.

Bloggers block (I think that is a good term for it) is tricky, especially when you have so much else to do. Why not tell us more about your life in Israel?

I absolutely love that dress, I was eyeing it up in topshop also but never ever realised it was half price, how silly of me! It suits you down to a tea. I love the photographs, so lovely!

You are a beauty in that lace dress. It is so dainty and pretty. I like how you styled it so simply with the scarf. The length of the sleeves make it look so elegant.

It's fun to read everyone's Topshop sale hauls-all over the world! Haha :)

I love your dress it is so pretty. I also like the effects of your pictures with the black and white. I was planning to try that with some of my pictures soon too. I feel like I don't know what to blog about at the moment either which is why I am not posting as much as I would like too. It appears as though we are in a similar situation.

These photos are so artistic; love the black and whites! And that dress is so pretty, it's probably worth the sale price, even with a stain. You sure make it look beautiful anyway! I'm a sucker for a sweet little lace dress. Sigh.

My blog can be a blog of depression too...sometimes I just forget what I think about or don't have anything to think about at all. Lovely dress, it goes well with your hair and the sunlight!

I seem to get "blog depression" too, it's so hard to stay inspired and find interesting things to post about.
But even if you have nothing to say your photo are always so lovely and thats enough for me!

A long-sleeved, lightweight summer dress? A dream come true! Lovely, lovely, lovely! That's too bad about the stain, though. Discounts are usually given for that over here, too. Has it come out?

I've been in the same situation regarding my blog plenty of times. Everything you blog about is very enjoyable. Just keep true to yourself. Blog what you want to blog :)

Hello, You asked for ideas on which to blog...I am very curious as to what you think about living in Israel, do you ever look at the news about what is going on? Seems like you are in a kind of unknowing bubble...You visit green parks, but did you know that Palestinians suffer from basic water shortages caused by Israel taking the water illegally? It is kind of sad that you seem to have blinders on and are living in a kind of fantasy.

Mar: First of all, thank you so much for jumping to conclusions about my opinions and knowledge. Secondly, this is my blog and I decide what I want to blog about - just because I don't talk about current affairs in my blog, does that really say anything about myself in general? This blog is just a tiny fraction of my life and there are many things I choose to keep separate from my blogging persona.
Anyway, since you asked, I do absolutely not live in a bubble and I am very aware of Palestinian suffering. However, I am also very aware of the fact that this is a two-sided conflict and that there are deep-rooted issues on both sides.

I do agree with all of the ideas you've introduced on your post. They're very convincing and can certainly
work. Nonetheless, the posts are too quick for newbies. Could you please lengthen
them a little from next time? Thank you for the post.
