Up in a tree...
One of my favourite things to do on a warm summer day is climbing up in a nice tree (if there is one in sight), with thick and comfotable branches to sit on, and just think, dream, read, write, listen to music or anything else. I don't think I was doing any of those in these photos though, but next time I think I will. To me, that's one of the most relaxing things to do... I love feeling like I am a part of nature, in a way, like that.

I haven't climbed a tree in years. I used to love being high up in the branches surrounded by leaves. I remember it being very serene.
Oh, and in response to the comment you left me about the seagull pictures: Thankfully we didn't have any food with us, so no dive-bombing occurred. Scary thought!
Your photos are GORGEOUS! I use to climb trees a lot! Feeling one with nature is the best feeling ever, that inspires me to write :)

the last time i climbed a tree i was 6 years old and dressed head to toe in pink :D i should try it again though

I have never climbed a tree before, the ones here would like break since it is such bad soil. ha.
i don't really know how to climb a tree (if it doesn't have low branches to put my feet on), but i always found it so exciting. you can be, indeed, a part of nature, that way. it is beautiful!

Impressive! I find it impossibly hard to climb trees in dresses, and that dress is so lovely I wouldn't risk it! Well done :)

The dress is wonderfully perfect.
This post brought back some nice memories for me, I used to sit in trees all the time as a child! I had my own apple tree in my grandmother's garden in the country that I used to sit up in. :) I was just there this weekend, but unfortunately the tree no longer exists, it got old, dried up and had to be cut down.
chilling under trees is a great things to do in the summer! especially to enjoy the shade :)
